How do the Searching Systems Work?
There are two general tasks of the searching systems:
At first is to find new sites and bring them to its own database. The second task is to estimate sites in database, to range them and do search results most proper to the users queries. There are no problems with realization of the first task (they simply follow hyperlinks and further index weigh site), however second task realization requires much more efforts.
Every searching system aims to give users the most relevant results of search. Entering the queries and keywords to the searching systems, you hope quickly get links to the interested resources. Searching systems, in same queue, compete between itself for the most exact results.
During many years, searching systems develop difficult mechanisms for website ranging and search results conclusion. From one side they have to find the most proper queries among the millions of websites, and from another side, they must carefully hide the methods of search from people, which try to optimize their sites «unfairly».
When the searching system looks at your page, it looks on text only. It does not perceive the design of site, amount of pictures or animation. The searching system sees and estimates the text only — how many keywords are there, what sections of page they meet, what programming language is used for webpage creation etc.
